What is RIDDOR?

RIDDOR stands for the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013.

The Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013, which require certain workplace incidents to be reported to the HSE.

RIDDOR requires responsible people to report and keep records of certain workplace injuries, occupational diseases and dangerous occurrences to the Health and Safety Executive.

Reportable events include deaths, specified injuries, injuries leading to more than seven days off work, certain diagnosed diseases and a defined list of dangerous occurrences.
