Keep working through a lifting inspection when the signal drops.
The CertFlow mobile app supports offline site work. Engineers can work from locally available jobs and equipment, record findings and photographs, then synchronise when connectivity returns.
Plan the site visit around connectivity
Basements, industrial buildings and remote sites are unreliable places to depend on a live browser connection. Prepare the job and confirm the needed equipment is on the device before entering a poor-signal area. The engineer can then continue the examination in the app.
When the device reconnects, synchronisation sends the locally recorded work back to the organisation. Teams should check sync status before assuming office staff or clients can see a new report. The public interactive sample at /try runs in a browser and is not a demonstration of the full mobile offline workflow.

The field workflow
- 01
Prepare the job
Open the assigned work and equipment while online, with the right inspection template and previous details available.
- 02
Record on site
Complete equipment-level questions, observations, photographs and relevant signatures in the mobile app.
- 03
Protect unfinished work
The app warns before leaving an inspection with unsaved changes so an engineer can save before moving on.
- 04
Reconnect and review
Check synchronisation after service returns, then review and issue the final report through the normal workflow.
Questions to ask in a live mobile demo
Offline availability depends on work being available on the device. Ask for a live demonstration using the sites and forms your engineers actually use.
- Which jobs and equipment are available offline?
- What happens to photographs taken with the device camera?
- How are unsaved changes flagged?
- When are office and client views updated?
- How are individual equipment items completed?
- What should the engineer check after reconnecting?
